Dr. Amrit Hansra and Dr. Rajvir Shahi, an accomplished Indian couple with a passion for medicine, have taken an innovative step by founding their own media company, 2Doc Media.
Utilizing their extensive medical backgrounds, they aim to transform their real-life experiences into compelling narratives that educate and inspire.
Their unique focus is on creating films that bring to light various medical issues, particularly those often misunderstood or overlooked, such as mental health.

Amrit Hansra
Dr. Amrit Hansra is a multifaceted individual who seamlessly juggles two vastly different worlds - the world of acting and his demanding job as an Interventional Radiologist. He was born and raised in Northern California and grew up constantly torn between his love for acting and academia. He ultimately chose to pursue a career in medicine. However, after dedicating 15 years to schooling and training and subsequently working in private practice for several years, Amrit has finally made the transition to pursuing his true passion of acting full-time.

Rajvir Shahi
Dr. Rajvir Shahi is an Internal Medicine physician, born and raised in British Columbia, Canada. Her journey as a creative writer began during her time as a resident on the frontlines of the pandemic. Initially, it served as an emotional outlet, but later it became a way to document the profound stories she witnessed. Committed to empowering women, she draws strength and resilience from motherhood, advocating for mental wellness and the importance of mental health in the demanding field of medicine. She’s excited to share her stories with the world as both a writer and director.

Bay Area based 2Doc Media exists to bridge the gap between the medical community and the public through the power of film. Founded by Dr. Amrit Hansra and
Dr. Rajvir Shahi, both accomplished physicians and passionate storytellers, the company leverages their medical expertise to create compelling narratives that demystify complex health topics. By transforming real-life medical experiences into engaging films, 2Doc Media aims to educate, inspire, and raise awareness about critical yet often misunderstood issues like mental health. Their work is crucial in making healthcare information more accessible and relatable, fostering a better-informed and healthier society.
